Have had right side pains under right rib cage..since gallbladder removal 2 1/2 years ago ...may the pain has gottin worse having yellow stools along with the horrible stabbing pain ...doctors have done blood test colonoscopy egd xrays ct scans but can t rule anything out ...the pain is starting to hinder everyday life ... and because so many people just want pain killers now adays I can t get any releif... Firstly USG of abdomen should be done for pain. UGS is very sensitive for hepatobiliary system. All causes of pain in this reason should be excluded. If all visceral causes are excluded then musculoskeletal causes should also be ruled out. LFT should be done to assess liver functions. Treatment depends upon clinical findings and investigation reports. Get well soon.
