I got salmonella typhi H and O a year ago and got treated with antibiotics.a year later still shows positive in the tests..1:360 I read somewhere that this is normal. I meet to take a yellow fever injection I read somewhere again that its not recommended to take the vaccine until no trace of selmonella is indicated in blood test. Is this true ?

Hello
welcome to health care magic
Yellow fever vaccine is contraindicated in
1.infants less than 4 months of age
2.individuals who are in immunosupression like HIV
3.Hypersensitivity reactions to components of vaccine.
But presence of Salmonella typhi infection is not a contrandication..you can take it

Regarding the widal report 1:360 is not normal..it is abnormal
Less than 1:160 is considered as normal that means you have no typhoid fever..but values varies according to the area..

Consult general physician and take further suggestions regarding widal and yellow fever vaccine
hope you understand my suggestion
Thank you
