Hi I m 39 years old woman living in Dubai. I weigh 76 kg with the height of 5.4". i m suffering from severe joints pain since my last preg about 2 years ago . My ortho surgeon n rheumatolist did all the blood tests, x-ray n even MRI. bt all report came back normal. But have severe stiffness in my hands , fingers n ankles, kneesneck shoulder , almost all of my bones ache am unable to move around. thanx
Hello, Thanks for writing in. Its important to note that you are suffering from severe joint pain involving hands, ankles, shoulder. You say X ray and MRI are normal (details of which part X ray and MRI done not mentioned). Since you are under the care of orthopedic surgeon and rheumatologist I understand you are taking medicines prescribed. Further you say this problem is since your last pregnancy 2 years ago. I would only add that you may have decreased bone mineral density in your bones and this needs a Bone densitometry scan (DEXA scan) if not done earlier. This test is very simple and more sensitive than X ray in picking up weak bones. Hope this helps.
