I took Nexium for a period with some relief Now i'm nauseated most of the time , no vomiting and some abd. discomfort. I saw internist and he has ordered a abd CT, prescribed Dexilant DR 60mg and some lab work,CBC w/Dif.,Comp Met panel, Cardiac lipid panel, and colonoscopy. Any thoughts? I am male and age 69.
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it appears to be the peptic ulcer, fatty liver, hepatitis, or lack of enzymes. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have gastroscopy, liver function tests, etc. Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Also avoid untimely foods. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have good health. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. thank you.
