Have Severe Headache And Numbness. Diagnosed As Migraine. All Test Done. What To Do?

my daughter as had a headache for 3 weeks now,,last week the right side of her face went numb whilst in bed,,shes crying with the pain saying it feels like her head is too big and its going to explode,,ive took her to ane they did all the tests and put it down to migraine,,,shes beside herself and i feel helpless,,,im taking her back to the doctors in the morning im going to ask for a scan ,,

Well the tests the doctors can run to confirm the diagnosis as migraine are blood tests, CT scan and an MRI.
Till then they can prescribe your daughter with some pain killers to make her feel better, I am surprised they havent done that already when they diagnosed her with migraine.
Now what you and your daughter need to do is identify triggers for your daughter for example certain foods, smell, flashing lights, noise, not enough sleep
Note them all down, make a diary with a list of all these things and try to avoid them as much as you can. Also in the diary write down the dates of when you get the migraine attacks and for how long they last.
In the case of migraine avoiding the triggers is one of the main methods of treatment, so I recommend you start finding the triggers and make a diary as soon as possible.
