Have Sporadic, Sharp Pain Near Testicles. No Swelling Or Lumps. What May Be The Problem?

I am having sporadic, stabbing, sharp pain near my left testicle. I cannot tell if it is joint pain or actually in the testicle itself. I have no swelling or lumps that I can detect. It seems worse when I sit. When I walk some I don t notice it. I also am type 2 diabetic.

Hi and thanks for the query,
It is important to get a careful evaluation. A notion of trauma has to be evaluated for. There could as well be tumors that are not readily palpable,. The expertise of a urologist could be more useful. Torsion of testicular appendages and indirect inguinal hernias could cause pain. A complete clinical evaluation is compelling in the first place. Kind regards
