Hi,
The pain in throat ,difficulty in swallowing, pain suggest inflammation in throat in form of Tonsillitis, pharyngitis. If you have fever along with it,you do need antibiotic and anti inflammatory drugs. Cough syrup can be added if needed.
You have to add your own efforts to the medicines,so as to get a relief earlier.
toncillar infection,
- Avoid exposure to cold
- Eat bland food. Avoid sour, spicy or cold food.
- drink warm water,no cold water or drinks please.
- Hot saline gargles twice a day/ vapour inhailing if you have common cold.
Please consult ENT specialist, to assess the condition & need of antibiotic.
* Another possibility,is due to the antibiotics & the infection in past, you might have developed sensitive oral mucosa due to vitamin B complex deffisiensy. This can be taken care of by vitamin B complex with folic acid supplement.
Take bland diet, apply Glycerine borax to oral cavity.
A purgative dose may be given in case of constipation
Keeping mouth cavity clean, gargles with warm water.
a couple of doses of anti inflammatory drugs will reduce the pain & inflammation.
Thanks
