Have Venous Insufficiency, varicose Veins, Lump On Knee. Hurts When Standing, pain In Hips, Butt. Help?
I have venous insuffiency and vericose veins. I also have a bad back, upper and lower. Yesterday I noticed a lump on back of knee where there is vericose veins. It is hard when leg is straight and soft when leg is bent. It does not hurt to touch, but hurts when standing. But I also noticed that I have pain in both legs, hips and butt. The day before noticing the bump I did alot of bending and moving. Could you tell me what the lump is from?
hi.. welcome to the board ,, by the history given ,, its seems u have got varicose veins of short sephanous vien which courses back of knee.... even their might be a perforator incompetence.. i advice u t go through a doppler study of lower limbs so as to know the state of veins and the valves. and regarding the symptoms i advice u to not to stand for long and when sleeping use a pillow below ur legs,,, compression stockings are also helpfull
hope u r helped by the explaination .. thank you
