Have Waxy Substance Coming From Penis After Cleaning, Painful. History Of Parkinsons, Dementia. Underlying Cause?
the home care aid noticed my husbands penis was very dirty and suggested we clean it. After trying this today in the tub and did get rid of quite a bit of waxy substance. It was very painful. He is 78 yrs old and had Parkinson's and suffered from dementia. is it necessary to clean the penis for health reasons? YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
It seems that due to collection of smegma under foreskin there is coming out of waxy substance.
It is very necessary to clean glans by averting foreskin to clean smegma to prevent infection, so make a habit of cleaning smegma while giving him bath.
At present there is infection due to UN-cleaned smegmas giving painful part.
Apply antibiotic cream for few days.
Ok and take care.
