Have Widal Test Report. Can Any Online Doctor Help Me To Read It?
Hello Doctor, My wife had fever 5 days ago which kept coming and going..Now she doesnt have fever but is not able to eat much and always has feeling of vomiting . The Widal(Rapid Slide Method) results are SAL,TYPHI-H ; Positive 1:80 Dilution SAL,TYPHI-O ; Positive 1:80 Dilution SAL,P.TYPHI-AH ; Negative 1:40 Dilution SAL,P.TYPHI-BH ; Negative 1:40 Dilution I also got the DENGU NSI test whose results are IGM :Negative IGG : Negative NS1 Antigen : Positive Kindly guide what food she can have as she doesnt feel like eating anything

the widal test is done usually after 1st week (on 8th day)
diagnosis of typhoid is made only if widal is positive in 1:160 dilutions
dengue is ruled out from your tests
you give her bread and milk, poridge or or any soft or semisolid food with salt and lemon for taste
an anti emetic like domperidone is given to prevent vomiting
