Having Acid Reflux. Medicines Not Helping. Any Natural Remedy To Reduce Stomach Acid?
WHAT NATURAL REMEDIES ARE GOOD FOR REDUCING STOMACH ACID? I WAS TOLD APPLE VINGAR WILL STOP REFLUX COMPLETELY. CONSIDERINGTHE TIF PROCEDURE. i HAVE BEEN ON PRILOSEC AND TRIED ALL THE OTHER MEDICINE FOR OVER 12 YEARS. CURRENTLY I SUFFER FROM LOW B12 ,AND VIT D, BONE PAIN AND EAT A VERY LIMITED FOODS. I'M FOLLOWING ALL THE RECOMMENDATIONS RE: FOODS TO AVOID, MEALTIMES,SLEEPING POSITION ETC....

Hello,
Drinking milk or eating milk products are helpful in relieving symptoms of acidity
Clove also helps to relieve the symptoms of acidity.
Almonds are also a good source for relieving the heartburn and acidity.
Lemon also help to prevent heartburn.
It is advised to eat 8-10 glass to water daily, good fruits and vegetables.
After food maintain an upright posture to prevent the reflex and to prevent the symptoms of acidity.
Sleep with your head and shoulder on a high pillow for elevation.
Do not skip meals.
Eat dinner 2-3 hours before going to bed.
Last but not the least stop smoking and cut down on alcohol.
You can continue Vit.D and calcium supplements.

Some more tips - * Always have food in small quantities and more frequently * Follow a specific time in a day regarding your diet * Don't immediately lie down after eating * Avoid oily foods & stored pickles
