Having Cough With Phlegm, Started In Bronchi Of Right Lung. History Of Cholesterol, Heart Problems. Cure?
I have a progressively worse cough and painful phlegm . It started in the bronchial area of the right lung and now is more in the main passage. No apparent fever. Started on Friday. Do not know the color of the phlegm. Have had a history of heart problems , and take medication for blood pressure and cholesterol . Two sets of quadruple bypass surgery in last 30 years.

This may be a sign of lower respiratory tract infection. you must go for chest xray PA view and CBC.
sometimes antihypertensive of ACE inhibitor can cause chronic cough in 10% of patients, usually women.
your symptoms seems mainly of infective origin...meet your doctor with the abovesaid tests....
