Hello, Mild white discharge is quite common among women prior to period. It is quite physiological due to secretion of cervical gland with the effect of progesterone. It has no smell or itching. Maintenance of genital hygiene is the key. Excessive discharge with some kind of smell may indicate vaginal infection. Vaginal swab test is required to confirm the diagnosis. Taking proper antibiotic with vaginal suppository at bed time is quite helpful. If you are sexually active, you should clean genitals before & after each sexual activity.
