Hello friend,
Thank you for posting your query through Healthcare magic.
I am a Homoeopath answering your query and so you will hear some different thoughts from me.
There is nothing to be alarmed about the
fever in your dad.
Because a fever simply means that his body is already being treated by the superior intelligence within him, we Homoeopaths call it the 'Vital Force'.
When any adverse environment happens to him, like, exposure to violent exertion under sun, sudden exposure to extreme
cold air, cold bath when over heated, any rotten food, any bacteria, any
poisoning by toxic substances, and innumerable similar other causes can make fever in an individual. Even mental shocks or fear of diseases can make one sick with fever as it happens during
epidemic fevers.
In most cases of fever, this fever will go off within a period of one to two days under the action of the 'vital force'. Until and unless he shows symptoms of poor immunity to the level of needing external help in the form of a constitutional remedy to improve his immunity and to fight his condition, it is better not to interfere with this self defence mechanism.
If the fever extends beyond two days, and if his general condition deteriorates, then he should be given external aid in the form of genetic constitutional remedy. As far as I know Homoeopathic remedies are the best constitutional support because Homoeopathy only considers the individual with the fever as the most important factor than the fever in the patient.
That means there is no single remedy for fever in Homoeopathy like the
paracetamol of conventional medicine, because Homoeopathy never intends to stop or suppress the fever which is a very useful primary level reaction of self defence. Out of hundreds of remedies which remedy is the most individualistically suitable one for the particular individual patient is decided by an expert Homoeopathic physician and is given to him.
Here most probably your dad's stomach is disturbed by the
bloating and hence he may have either some indigestible thing in his stomach or he must have had a psychological conflict which is not resolved. It is explained by psychologists as something that his mind has not 'digested'.
If you want to cure your dad, get back to me with more details like causation, duration, sensations within him, aggravating and ameliorating factors, his previous and present mental dispositions, other diseases he has etc. You can use the premium follow up facility of Healthcare magic to get back to me directly.
With best wishes ,
