Having Fibro, Nerve Damage In Foot. Now Developed Lump Above Kneecap. What Could This Be?
I am a 66 year-old woman who is 5'5" and about 140 lbs. I have fibro, nerve damage in my lft foot, etc., etc. But now I've developed a lump above my left kneecap on the outside of the knee. It is feverish, moves when palpated. I started a standing-up-all-day job at Macy's recently; was an English teacher previously and have never stood all day. What could this be?
I understand your concerns. I see that you have fibromyalgia and it can be difficult to live with that disease. Neuropathy affecting your food is also concerning. I also think that you should find another job that does not involve you standing up all day, you seem to be an active person and you need an active job, where you sit, stand and exercise yourself so as to stay away from all the joint problems. Please see your doctor if your problems persist.
I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
