Having Hot Flashes, Hypothyroidism. Blood Test Normal. Underlying Cause?
Hi Doc! I was surfing the web to find info on why I am having one (1) hotflash everyday at 5:30ish PM. First I thought it was the sun moving over but no matter where I am it happens. I have not had a cycle in yrs. I do have hypothyroidism but my blood work a few months ago was great without me being on meds for months. Just wondering if there are any sound reasons for this.
What you have failed to mention is your age. The fact that you have not had a period for years now, provides information on you habing attained menopause years ago. If this is correct, then you have the cause for your hot flashes right there. One of the most common causes for hot flashes is menopause. I wonder how google missed this. :)
Hope this helps.
Take care.
