Having Mild Headaches, Dizziness, Depression In Skull. Could It Be Due To Vitamin D Deficiency Or Lupus?
For about the last two weeks I have had mild headaches. Mild dizziness and I noticed a depression in my skull. I read it could be vit d deficiency. I worry about the dizziness. I also have been wondering about the possibility of lupus because i have noticed the "butterfly mask" and fatigue I am 44 and have been very healthy. But I haven't been to my primary physician in two years.
Hi, Thank you for posting your query. There is no need to worry as vitamin D deficiency can be easily treated with tablets, and you do not fulfill the criteria for diagnosis of lupus.
You should undergo tests such as ANA (antinuclear antibody) to exclude or confirm a diagnosis of lupus.
Your headaches and dizziness are most likely due to migraines, which can be easily treated with medications such as flunarizine, beta blockers, topiramate, etc.
I hope it helps.
