Having Pain Around Belly Button. CAT Scan Showed Inflammation And Blood Clot. Worrisome
I had eaten something andstarted havining pains in around my belly butten Icalled an ambulance and went to the hospital I stayed 2 days the dr. took a catscan and said Ihadalot going onin my stomach a lot of inflamtion around the linftnots and did I know there was a blood clot in there since 09 I was never told about ablood clot .in 2 week Iwill have another catsscan.

You can get such abdominal clots for various reasons, which can be either local or systemic.Generally the treatment offered is thrombolysis and follow up to see resolution of clot on either CT scan or Doppler.
One needs long term treatment and prophylaxis treatment for this.Interval follow up for few years is recommended.
