Head Hurt In A Fight, Sore Lump, No Other Signs Of Concussion. Took Tylenol. What Else Can I Do ?

i was in a barfight this past friday, got hit pretty hard in the head, and wound up having a lump, it hurt but i was never really dizzy or close to vomiting or another signs of a concision. Well i still have a lump and it is sore,if you touch it, but I dont seem to have any other symptoms. I have been taking two tablets of Tylenol a day, is there anything else i should do about it

Hi.
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that the lump on your head is due to soft tissue swelling.
Though it will subside by its own in few days to weeks time, taking pain killer will help reduce the pain and will help in early recovery from the swelling.

Along with Tylenol. you can take antiinflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen one tablet twice a day after meals along with an antacid like Omeprazole 20 mg.

If the problem persists, get yourself clinically examined by a Neurosurgeon.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
