Head Injury, Headaches, Nose Bleed. Blood Vessel Was Large. What Happened?
I'm 14 and I banged the top of my head on a wrestling ring floor. I had a headache and about 10 hours later my left side of my nose bleed for 4o minutes before stopping and I had a slight headache the rest of the day. The doctor said the left side blood vessel was large but my right side was fine. Could this nose bleed be because of banging my head. I had no other symptoms.
An injury on the head can cause a variety of lesions. It can cause bleeding which may be internal, it can cause bleeding from nose or ear, it may cause loss of consciousness, blurring of vision, etc.
You need to consult your doctor for a clinical examination. A CT head is required to look for any damage caused to the brain tissue. A number of injuries, do not produce immediate symptoms but can produce symptoms later on.
