Head Injury, Knot On Head, Have Headache Behind Eye. Should I Be Worried?

I hit my head pretty hard on a soap dish in the shower yesterday. I felt okay afterwards, save for a small knot on my head. Today, nearly 24 hours later, I have a splitting headache . It hurts most where I actually hit the dish, and behind my left eye. It s the most awful headache I ve had in a long, long while. Should I be worried?

Hello,
Sever headache following significant injury needs evaluation. Since you have mentioned that you had a pretty hard injury you require evaluation by doctor to rule out any injury.
The alaraming symptoms are presence of dizziness, vomiting, nausea...., if you have any of these symptoms following injury you need immediate evaluation, if not you can consult your doctor with appointment.

Thank you
