Headache, Arachnoid Cyst Diagnosed, Constraint Vision, Ringing In Ears, Patterns In Front Of Eyes. Suggestions?
I was told when having very bad headaches, falling down hurting myself, that after a CT scan that I had a 3.3 X 1 cm sized arachnoid cyst in the anerior aspect of the right middle cranial fossa. The headaches are getting worse, vision is going a constainte ringing in my ears. I am starting to know when the headaches are going to be there worst when I start seeing patterns infront of my eyes, I start getting sick to my stomach within 30 mintues. Then I better be sitting down becuase that is when I start falling. Do I need to seek another opinon for this. They seem not to want to do anything at this point. HELP
As a rule it is said all arachnoid cysts are friendly to human body , but if you had syncope means falling down, vision going, ringing in ears, headache with vomiting, disturbance in balancing your self clearly means the following
Its NOT arachnoid cyst , and you have to undergo either MR spectroscopy or sterotactic biopsy to prove what it is and then treat.
OR it is arachnoid cyst with migraine as you have described the symptoms they can lead to migraine , as arachnoid cyst can also cause this
Consult another doctor and discuss what i told you, get 2nd opinion
take care
