According to the symptoms described by you it seems that you are having Migraineheadaches.
Migraine headaches can be triggered by some factors like :-
1. Lack of sleep
2. Missed meals
3. Stress
4. Heavy exercise
5. During menstural cycle in females
6. Dairy products
7. Excessive chocolates
8. Eating food rich in MonoSodium Glutamate(MSG)
It can be increased by bright lights and high sounds and can be associated with nausea and vomiting. Try to avoid those factors which increases your attack and you will need less medication.
You can take paracetamol 500 mg and domperidone 10 mg for relief and get yourself examined by a Neurophysician for proper management.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
