Headaches, Stabbing Pain Behind Ear, Dizziness, Burning Smell. Treatment Options?
I have these recent stabbing headaches , like someone is putting a knife through my head behind my right ear. They only last a few seconds to a minute at most. Then I m just left dizzy and kind of with a dull headache. Sometimes I smell things burning...my husband is mad because he thinks I m crazy and it always sends him searching the house for a fire. I m I crazy or should I have this checked.

You need to be evaluated for your symptoms. These symptoms warrant investigations such as MRI scan of brain and electroencephalography (EEG). We need to exclude a diagnosis of seizures and episodic neuralgic pain.
You would improve with medications such as carbamazepine.
