Hi I Had Surgery In 2001 For Morton S Neuroma, Will
Hi I had surgery in 2001 for Morton s Neuroma, will tonight I noticed on bottom of my foot where I have scar tissue from surgery that my foot feel almost like when u spend a long time in water and it is numb in that area and skin is discolored whiter than rest of my foot. Can scar tissue get inflamed yrs later?
Scar tissue can show this type of changes even long time after surgery. Specially in foot where weight of whole body is there. Are you feeling any itching also. It can be a skin problem as well, so if it is causing any itching and discoloration increases than you can show to a skin specialist. I think chances of a hypertrophic scar is also can not be rule out. You have to keep a look if scar size is progressively increasing, than you may need a steroid injection in your scar.
