High SGPT, SGOT Values. Diabetic And Suffers Psoriasis. Underlying Causes ?

I have a query regarding my Mom's health. She had her blood ests done 2 days ago.
In her LFT, thevalues of SGPT and SGOT are 131 and 96 respectively. These high values bother us.
Can you kindly let me know what is wrong with health? She is a diabetic for last 4 years
and also suffers from Psoriasis since last 5-6 years.

ALT (SGPT) and AST (SGOT) are enzymes made in the liver. When liver cells are damaged or dying, ALT and AST leak into the bloodstream.
Many different things can cause liver enzymes to rise above normal levels.
Viral hepatitis , Fatty liver (common in case of diabetes) could be possible cause in her. few medications can result in raised enzymes.
Ultrasound abdomen helps to know liver condition and gall bladder.
Depending on ultrasound report further management can be done.

Hope this helps you
