High Fever With Classic Flu Symptons Went Down By 'tylenoi Cold'. Now The Temperature Is Stable At 99-100 For 2/3 Days. Should It Be A Concern?

Monday night I began to fall ill with what are classic flu symptoms. Aches and pains, fever, cough. By Tuesday the fever peaked at 103. I used tylenol cold and flu to manage the symptoms and the next day it was down to 1000. Well here I am on friday night and for the last three days my fever has stuck around staying in the 99-100 range generally and I have a fairly unproductive cough as well. Should I be concerned that this fever is not going away yet?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
This could be the viral infection and this will take 5 to 7 days to come around, unless having some secondary infection if this is the case then the body temperature will remained elevated, in such situation antibiotic need to be started and the drug of choice would be Levofloxacin 500 mg for 5 days this will give good response have nice day
