My dad aged 54, started with Dialysis 20 days back. He has been having fever for last 2 months. 1 month back he was diagonised with typhoid under Widal. He is hospitalized in 1 of the best hospitals in India for last 20 days. Doctors are clueless for source of fever. He is currently given inj. Meropenum 500mg twice a day. But his TLC is fluctuating between 0000 to 0000. Hemoglobin had come down to 7 till 2 days back. Doctors injected 2 units blood n Hb has become 10. He has lost 13 kgs in 2 months. Shows lymph nodes in HRCT. was started witj ATT but Rcin shot his BP above 200 & he developed difficulty in breathing. So R cin was stopped. Any idea for persistent fever n his weakness.
