High Pulse Rate, Constant Headache, Breathing Problems, EKG Normal
My wife has been hospitalized going on second day. At first they thought she had pneumonia but now they don t think so. Her symptoms are continuous high pulse rate, constant headache like she can feel her heart beat in her face, and breathing problems. Sometimes the breathing is so bad she don t have enough voice to talk. Nothing really shows up on EKG . And they think there maybe a very small spot on the lower left lobe of her lung but it s so small they are not even sure if there is
Attacks of palpitations will only show up in ECG if it`s taken during the episode of palpitations which is most of the time not possible. You should get a holter test done for her. Beside, EPS studies also help in diagnosis of palpitations. Breathlessness could be because of palptitations. However get a xray chest, a ct chest and a PFT done to rule out any lung causes of breathlessness.
