My sister has Chiari, she has had the decompression surgery years ago and is again in severe pain. Her doctor at Kaiser is insensitive and bascially tells her he cannot give her anything for the pain and he doesn't seem to think there is a relationship with her lower back is affected by the herniated discs (caused by the Chiari)and the nerve pain in her legs, therefore he does nothing for her. Is there a doctor in Kaiser that can help with the pain management? She has been talking about dying to get away from the awful pain. She is now unable to walk and very depressed. She really needs someone to help her. She is in Los Angeles CA and if Kaiser can send her elsewhere via referral please let me know how we can get this done. Unfortunately her doctor is not very pleasant and provides us no information. Please advise.
