History Of Hysterectomy. Want To Lose Weight Naturally

I had a full hysterectomy at 29. I want a natural way to help me lose weight. I exercise, mostly walking and I do sit ups. My upper arms are big, back has a nice amount of fat, waistline is not present, and my lower back aches. I look like I'm about 7 months pregnant. I weigh 233 lbs, 5'4", and I learned to change my eating habits years ago with Weight Watchers. I recently went to the doctor and ALL my tests are negative from BP to diabetes. No thyroid problems. I've given birth to 2 healthy babies vaginally.

Hi thanxs for posting your question on healthcaremagic.

Firstly,dont panic!
You can lose weight; you just have to work a little harder. Try some of these tips to get you started:

-Determine your goal weight and calorie allowance. Lets say it's 140. If you are sedentary you need to eat 1400 calories a day to maintain that weight. [140 X 10]. If you move moderately, you can multiply your goal weight times 13. [140 X 13 =1820] If your exercise routine is more intense, you can multiply by 15 [140 x 15 =2100]. Now that you know the basic formula you can figure out your range of calories you can eat, but you may need to adjust based on your own metabolic rate.

-Determine calorie intake. The next step is to figure out how many calories you eat. If you do it for just two weeks it will give you a pretty accurate measure of your normal calorie intake.

-Exercise. Start where you are. If you can only walk a half a km today, do it. If you can only walk up and down your stairs two times, do it. Start where you are and slowly work up to your potential.

-Be patient. Don’t expect to reach your goals all in one month, but do set weekly and monthly goals to get you to your ultimate goal. Don’t let setbacks discourage you. Keep going. And remember, to think positive!!

Hope it helped!

Regards,
Dr neha.
