Hit On Face Near Ear. Heard Rigging Sound, Started Spitting Blood. X-ray Normal. Hurts On Eating
i got in a fight with this guy and he hit me with a staff on the left side of my face on my jaw close to my neck/ear and was hearing ringing in my ear for 2 days and i started spitting up a little bit of blood after a week of getting hit. i went to a drop in Dr. clinic an they got a x-ray done (the day after i got hit) and said everything was all good but it still hurts to eat after a week later. i don't know what's going on. i also somehow had oral thrush the same week but i think its gone now. i don't really have much of a sense of taste though.
Hi, if your doctor said that xray is fine and there is no fracture in the area, use analgesics with anti-inflammatory and do not eat things which are hard to bite. if your ringing in ear has not subsided, see an ENT and get your ear examined. Blood which you are spitting should go in few days. Just rinse your mouth frequently with warm saline. regards
