Hi and thanks for the query,
The symptoms you present with need a careful evaluation. Important aspects of your past medical history could be useful. Any history of
hypertension, any bleeding disorders,
chronic rhinitis or
sinusitis or recent viral infections could be useful . However, headache and nose bleeding at times could be observed in some hypertensive patients. It possible that the headaches and the nose bleeding might not actually be directly related.
This headache evaluation must be analyzed based on duration, timing, aggravating and relieving factors , and other associated signs and symptoms. This shall help in distinguishing a primary headache (migraine, tension headaches and cluster headaches) from secondary headaches (brain tumours, abscesses, stress, etc). A physical examination of the nostril by preferably an
ENT specialist could give more insight into the probable etiology of the nose bleeds.
I strongly recommend booking an appointment with an ENT specialist, and then probably a
neurologist for a proper clinical and paraclinical evaluation and management.
Thanks and best regards,
