How Can I Control Blood Sugar Through Amway Products ?
Hi doctor, I am 36 years old. Recently i was identified in blood test as post prandial blood sugar as 220 & Fasting blood sugar as 109. My urine sugar post prandial as ++. I was advised by a nutritionist to take amway fibre with lunch and amway Glucose health tablet 1/2 an hour before meals three times a day. I am also consuming Nutrilite protein powder with low fat milk daily (two scoops per day morning with break fast and evening with tiffin) from this month. After two / three months of control of sugar I need to conceive. Kindly advice me in this matter of consuming amway nutrilite products to control sugar. If there is a control in sugar level, may I know it is not necessary to inject insulin during pregnancy.
Hello
The nutrilite products are health and food supplements and they will not bring your sugar down.
You must consult your doctor fir the proper check up,investigations and treatment.
It is very important for you to control your sugar as you are proceeding ahead for conception.
If you are able to control your sugar levels by diet and exercises, then you will not be requiring any insulin in your pregnancy but if you require medications for controlling your sugar during pregnancy, then insulin is the right choice in pregnancy as oral diabetic drugs are avoided in pregnancy.
Thanks
