I sprained my ankle 9 days ago when a motorbike fell on it. Most of the initial bruising that appeared almost immediately has gone but there is fresh bright red bruising below my outside ankle bone and it has been numb around the same area since the accident. I have had it x-rayed but there is no apparent breaks/fractures and I am able to put some weight on it now, although it is still tender to touch on both sides of the ankle. Should I be worried?
