I don't have acne problems on my face but I do on my backside and upper legs. I have scars and there are always at least 2 pimples at a time, small but noticeable. It makes me self conscious when wearing a swimsuit. I tried using an acne medication and it worked for the pimples but not the scars, it also bleached my underwear. What do you recommend?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne scars on back and legs which is because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it leads to post inflammation hyper-pigmentation. It could be due to clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. i would suggest you to apply Meladerm cream and it is purely safe to use as this is combination of hydroquinone + Tretinoin + steroid and apply it at night time. Drink plenty of water. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks. Apply aloe vera gel at night.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
