How Can Blood Sugar Levels In Diabetes Be Controlled?
Dear Dr. My husband (Age 32) has been recently diagonised for Diabetics. The values are 196 (Fasting) & 398 (PP). Kindly advice what has to be done to control sugar level. Is insulin required at this stage or will tablets be suffficient. Plz guide me on his diet that has to followed. Thanks & Regards Shermy Metilda

welcome to hcm, if he is a newly diagnosed diabetic patient he can be first started with oral anti diabetic medications. he might need two oral diabetic medications at first itself with the medications he must have regular aerobic exercises diet control and regular timely meals start a two drug regimen as per your physicians advice. all the medications are given with physicians prescription only so we cannot prescribe you medications hope you understand hope you find this useful
