How Can Bowel Movements Be Helped?

I am a 30 year old 5'5 and about 150 pounds. I have an injured back( Si joint left side) and neuropathy. I'm on cymbolta 60mg daily for chronic back pain and 1/2 vicoden at night. I have a problem having a BM. Sometimes it feels like im going to have diarrhea suddenly but when I get to toilet it's like glue and paste and won't come out. Oh I also get b12 shots weekly. Any answers?

- Avoid smoking or alcohol consumption in any form .
- Regular sound sleep of 8 hours .
