Understanding your concern. As per your query you have facial acne with pain and discomfort, Well this is very common problem. There can be many factors responsible for acne like hormonal changes , stress , oily skin and excessive exposure to sun . I would suggest you to wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide then apply cream containing azelaic acid which is safe and very effective. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment . Doctor may prescribe retinoid ointment and antibiotic like minocyclin. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables also drink plenty of water. Apply vitamin E before going to bed to fine texture of skin . Exfoliate your skin with non comedogenic exfoliant once a week to remove dead skin.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
