Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. It is good that your girlfriend is conscious, oriented and having no deficit.

Pain after head injury can occur for few weeks or a month. It will subside on its own. But to get rapid relief, you can follow few tips

: Avoid pressure at injury site
: Ask her to avoid any kind of mental stress
: Ask her to start her normal routine. It will divert her attention and help in overcoming pain
: You can apply ice at injury site if swelling is present
: You can giver her stronger painkiller than paracetamol and ibuprofen. You can give combination of Aceclofenac-Paracetamol sustained formulation/ Tramadol-Paracetamol sustained formulation/ Diclofenac-Paracetamol after proper prescription.
: If still no relief, you can ask doctor to giver her injectable painkiller like Diclofenac or Tramadol.
: There are painkiller skin patches available which provide relief for 10 to 12 hours e.g. Diclofenac patch. You can apply it on her after proper prescription and ruling out any allergy

Hope it will help her. Take care.

Thanks.
