How Can I Get Rid Of The Scar Due To Acne?

Thank you.. :) I had acne years ago,including on my chest. This was about 17 years or so ago. Much of the acne,almost all,has gone. But in the center of my chest is now a sore, where I think I may have scratched at an acne thing. Its pretty noticeable, not too far from bottom of neck. Have you heard of this before,and do you think there may be anything I can do to remove the sore looking mark?

Hi,

The scars on upper part of the chest may be there after trauma or scratching the acne lesions you had. Depending the the type of scars,treatment is considered. If they are hypertrophic scars, intradermal steroids may be taken. If they are depressed, fillers may be considered. Laser, silicone gel application,dermabrasion etc...may be the other modalities. You consult dermatologist for perfect treatment...ok
