How Can I Get Rid Of The Spots On Lower Back Caused By Heating Pad?
I use my heating pad every night and now I have dark brown line and spots on my lower back. After doing some research and looking at images I believe I have Erythema ab igne. I know I MUST stop using my heating pad!
How can I treat this? Will these spots go away? Should I do anything preventative for future damages?
If I were your dermatologist then for dark pigmentation I would have suggested you to use azelaic acid cream or Kojic acid cream or glycolic acid cream or licorice extract or arbutine creams at night time in guidance of dermatologist.
The most important part is to not to rub the area and prevention of further use of heating pads.
Take a proper guidance and follow up with a good dermatologist so that all the problem can be dealt best for future time.
Protect yourself form direct sunlight.
Take care
