Hi,

I can understand your concern for the bleeding after sex.

Even many a times it is seen that due to injury by the finger nails you can have bleeding which is quite minimal but creates anxiousness. As you are on depo preparation of progesterone so it is unlilikely to get bleeding due to withdrawal of progesterone hormone.

It can be sign of any infection near the perineal area on inside urinary tract or vagina and cervix. I suggest you to meet a gynecologist and check out for the exact nature of bleeding and rule out any infection in the local area.

Till that time avoid sexual intercourse or any finger manipulation to prevent any further secondary infection.

Take care.
