If you've been assured that these are not epileptic seizures then, you may be suffering from an entity known as non-epileptiform seizure disorder. There is an excellent link with lots of information on this entity which you will find very interesting which may answer many questions you may have about this disorder which is treatable but NOT with drugs that are typically used for epilepsy...and boy are YOU LUCKY for that! Here is the link:

As far as the sinus infection is concerned my guess if you are getting the read from either CT or mainly MRI they usually report the presence of CHRONIC SINUS MUCOSAL THICKENING which DOES NOT mean that there is any active infection going on in the sinuses. They simply make the call of something they see but it is not an acute infection and so you need not worry about treating such an entity since it has nothing to do with your spells.

If you would like to upload any reports you may have of your brain so I can review them then, let me invite you to write a DIRECT QUERY to me at the following web address and I'd be happy to look at it for you:

Please also don't forget that your written feedback as well as a STAR RATING to this question are greatly appreciated if you've found the information of value. Also,
CLOSING THE QUERY on your end so that the network may process, archive, and properly credit this case for future reference as well garners my thanks.

Cheers!
