How Can Sleep Disorder And Lack Of Body Control Be Treated?
Hi My mother has a prescription for following medicine for several years: 1 - Flumod - 20mg: 1 - 0 -0 2 - T Shicalm H: 1/2 - 1/2 - 0 3 - Primox: 0 - 0 - 2 4: S zetalo Pus: 0 - 0 - 1 We consulted another doctor recently for 2nd opinion, she changed to following: 1 - Flumod 20mg: 2 - 0 2 - T STILNOCT 6.25mg: 0 - 0 -1 My mother was on above prescription for 12 days but was complaining about loss of sleep and lack of control on body while walking. Hence we went back to the old prescription for 2 days, but she has completely lost control on her body though sleep has increased. She is also not being able to perform her regular activities and not in top of her senses.
seems she has depression or anxiety disorder for a long .as she was on two antidepressants your second doctor tried to change it to only one antidepressant ,which was right approach actually . as she had decreased sleep with stilnoct 6.25 mg the dose could be doubled to 12.5 mg which is a fair adequate dose. her lack of balance during walking needs to be evaluated thorougly. i would suggest you to revisit your second doctor and discuss with her about problems
