General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, You could be having some hereditary differences leading to non response to Warfarin. You should go back to your Doctor and change the medication to Acitrom which might get your INR in the therapeutic range of 2 to 3. Otherwise, he will have to start you on one of the newer anticoagulants or Factor X inhibitors which do not require INR monitoring. Take care and contact me directly if you have any other queries regarding this on my profile page or leaving a query on 'Ask a specialist' section of the website.
