How long can a person live with cirrhosis and esophageal varices? My son's girlfriend has had the banding procedure a few times.
Age 29, ht 5'3", wt--hard to tell because of the ascites--maybe 150. H/o drug and etoh abuse. Still drinks, but I don't know how much.
