How Long Can Person Survive Without Food Or Liquids?
My grandfather has a DNR right now and has been gravelly ill. We are being told he is in the first stage of death. Because of the DNR he is getting no nourishment. He cannot swallow therefore cannot eat or drink. How long can a person last without any kind of nourishment? They are telling us he is not suffering. They are giving him morphine. He is very small and frail at 90 lbs. I live halfway across the country from them. How long can he go without any kind of food or water?
