How Long Does Hernia Wound Take To Cure?
My husband had an inguinal hernia repair 3 weeks ago. After 2 weeks he was feeling very unwell and found he had an infection in his wound. He's been taking flucloxacillin for the past 6 days and isn't really feeling any better and for the past 3 days has been suffering from diaharrhea. I am concerned as his wound is still quite red at one end and still weeps, and he's exhausted.Should he really be feeling better by now?

I am sorry that your husband is going through wound complication. If wound is infected after surgery, it will take time to get healed. I advise to check his blood sugar levels as often diabetes makes it difficult for the wound to heal.
Keep good care of his wound and advise healthy diet.
