How Long It Takes To Get Normal Periods After Taking Minigynon Pills?

Hello doc I was taking the minigynon pills I took the last pack in December 2013 when will my period comes back normally

I also had unprotected sex with my husband in January and took Preventol emergency pills and I'm getting break through bleeding. When will it stop completely?

Hello dear, firstly I would like to know the reason for discontinuation of pills at the first place. If you don't want pregnancy then switch to some other contraception method as taking emergency pill every time is not safe as it can lead to pregnancy and that too more chances of tubal pregnancy. It can also lead to irregular periods as in your case. This will revert by itself and if doesn't then start taking the pills and continue for three months which will regularize your cycle.
